Honoured with the Early Career - Emerging Teacher Award

25 July 2026

I am delighted to share that on 25 July 2026, I was honoured with the Early Career – Emerging Teacher Award by the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) in London.

The award was presented during the international RAD Members’ Conference and recognises outstanding ballet teachers in the first five years of their careers who make a significant contribution to dance education through innovative teaching, educational excellence and dedication to their students. Following my nomination, I was shortlisted as one of four international finalists before being announced as the recipient of the award.

In his speech, RAD Artistic Director Alexander Campbell highlighted that the judging panel recognised my exceptional impact and potential at the beginning of my teaching career. They commended the excellent examination results achieved by my students, my experience teaching the full RAD syllabus from Pre-Primary to Advanced 2, and my holistic approach to dance education, combining strong technical training with physical awareness, individual support and an inclusive learning environment. The judges also acknowledged my commitment to continuing professional development, student wellbeing and creating opportunities that enable young dancers to grow and reach their full potential. They described these qualities as those of a future leader in dance education.

Receiving this international award is an incredible honour and a very special recognition of my work as a ballet teacher. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who nominated and supported me throughout this journey, especially my students and their families. They inspire me every day and are the reason I am so passionate about sharing my love of dance and dance education.

I look forward to continuing this journey, further developing as a teacher and inspiring the next generation of dancers with the same passion, dedication and joy.

Merry Christmas!

As the year comes to an end, I would like to say thank you—for your trust, enthusiasm, and all the wonderful ballet and PBT classes we have shared throughout the year.

Now it is time to slow down, enjoy time with family, and take a well-deserved break from everyday life.

If you would like to make the most of the Christmas holidays, there are still a few places available in my PBT courses starting in January—a wonderful opportunity to begin the new year with fresh energy, lots of fun, and perhaps just a little muscle soreness!

I wish you a relaxing holiday season and look forward to everything that 2026 has in store.

Merry Christmas!
